Regional Candidate Training Schools - Sample Agenda
Designed to give candidates running for municipal, state, and statewide office a solid overview of campaign basics, the Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics campaign training school will provide information to candidates about fundraising, media relations, potential obstacles, and building a constituent base. Each school is sponsored by a regional organization and each session provides valuable take-home tools to keep women running and winning in South Carolina.

Using the Internet and Email effectively to build a network of support.
12:15 - Lunch - Women Who've Run: Obstacles and Opportunities
A panel of local/regional women who tell their story and answer questions from the inside.
A box lunch will be provided.
1:30 - Fundraising
Building you budget, attracting donors and keeping them happy.
2:30 - Friendraising
Building a grassroots base beginning with friends, family and community.
3:00 - Close and a short survey
