Managing Your Message Workshop

Date: September 22, 2010
Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

A Unique Training with On-Camera Speaker Training

Some prospective leaders seem to be on message, able to answer questions with solid but timely answers. What about your message? Is it diffused? Meandering? Varying from one audience to another? Expert speech consultant, Deb Sofield, just returned from training others in Turkey and Jordan, conducts the day's workshop.

Learn how to build a message that defines your campaign and then test your points with representatives of the media.

  • Build a succinct, differentiating message.
  • Create media that reflect a consistent message.
  • Test your message with editorial boards and reporters.
  • Talk to the camera. How does your presentation look onscreen.
  • Beyond mainstream media. Taking your message to the online public.
  • Switch it up - modify your message to address different audiences.
  • Sum it up - build your memorable close.
This is a unique opportunity to hone your message with volunteer members - print and broadcast - plus test your message in front of a live camera and take your disk home for further review and practice.

This unique workshop is limited to 18 on-camera and 36 total participants.
