What is your leadership style?

Bringing  people together to find common sense solutions.

Has there been a woman who you've admired in the political world and what is it about her that gives you courage to run the race?

There are so many women I admire. My mother, who never served in public office, but was always involved in politics and community and family, whom I have seen first handed overcome many gender based obstacles, is my greatest inspiration.

Has political office been a life long goal/dream of yours?

No, but it is the path I have taken with no regrets.

Tell us something your friends would be surprised to learn about you?

I make a great pound cake!

What keeps you awake at night?

Worrying about the future of my grandchildren and their peers.

Your mother always said….

Always do your best and "never get above your raising".
