Campaign Training - Back to School!
The Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics invites you to participate in a unique, hands-on workshop to prepare women to win elected and appointed positions at the federal, state and local levels...and to train campaign managers and volunteers who can help them. Join us afterwards for Pathways to Power.
When:
Wednesday, September 10, 1 - 5 PM
Where:
University of South Carolina, School of Journalism and Mass Communications [Directions] (Note: Reserved parking information will be provided to all registrants in advance of the workshop)
Attendees can choose any session in either Track 1 and Track 2. When Preparing Your Media Message** is full, all attendees will participate in the first two sessions of Track 2. For course descriptions, click here.
** Prepare Your Media Message includes an optional extension that will allow participants to film and view the results of simulated interviews with media and editorial boards, helping to improve speech and presentation skills. Click here to see the full agenda. NOTE: Sessions will end 50 minutes after the hour to afford participants time
for refreshments.
Cost:
Registration is $75 for 4 sections. Registration for Prepare Your Media Message (plus two other sections) is $100 and is limited to the first 10 registrants. Fee includes reserved parking and all materials.
