Ruth Sherlock - President, Sherlock & Associates
Ruth Sherlock has a unique combination of political, government, marketing, and not-for-profit expertise. She currently serves as a consultant to corporate clients helping them develop grassroots and grasstops campaigns to win public support, raise awareness, and increase brand identity. For more than twenty years, she has served in numerous positions giving strategic advice and raising money for state parties, candidates, campaigns, corporations and non-profits. In addition, she served as the Marketing Director for BE&K Government Group, a start up engineering, construction and maintenance company focused on capturing the government market.
As the Regional Finance Director and National Field Finance Director for the Republican National Committee (RNC), she helped state parties raise record amounts to help fund successful voter programs for senate, house & presidential candidates. During this time she also opened a full service public affairs company, The Palladian Group, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As a partner in this group her mission was to help corporate, not-for-profit and political clients raise money and develop their message to promote their brand on radio, television and direct mail.
Ruth also worked as Finance Director for a gubernatorial campaign, Incumbent Retention Coordinator for the National Republican Congressional Committee, Regional Finance Director and Local Programs Director for the RNC and Campaign Manager for a congressional candidate. She served the first Bush Administration as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Energy, working with congressional staff, federal agencies, and community groups. Sherlock was selected to work in the international political arena helping to successfully garner 13 of the 14 parliamentary seats in Grenada the year after the American-led charge to free the island.
