Heather Hoopes-Matthews - Marketing Director for Nexsen Pruet
Heather Hoopes-Matthews is the Marketing Director for Nexsen Pruet - a 7-office, 180-lawyer law firm based in the Carolinas. Heather also anchors Providence Heartbeat, the news segment highlighting Providence Heart Institute and the advancements in heart-related technology. In that capacity she serves as a Red Dress Ambassador educating women about heart disease.
In 2002, Heather ended an 8-year career as Senior Reporter for WIS-TV in Columbia. Heather, a Kansas native, graduated from the journalism school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has worked at CNN's Washington DC Bureau, and at newsrooms in Alabama, Kansas and Missouri.
Heather is married to Jim Matthews and she is the stepmother of three children. Heather and her husband live in Camden, SC.
