Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics

Institute Advocates are individuals who want to assist the mission of the Institute, particularly in disparate industry and geographical ways. Advocates are asked to seek out women with leadership qualities and deliver contact information back to the Institute. These individuals do not speak on behalf of the Institute but do reach out on its behalf.

Women need to be asked to run - more so than men.

Because we know that, we are asking for your help in finding the best women - in their communities where they work, live, and exhibit leadership qualities. If you are willing to seek out women with a passion about key issues who demonstrate leadership, please join us as Advocates, a support group of the Institute. Help us identify capable women you believe could run and win and we'll pick up on your suggestion. Once we learn more about these women and what elected or appointed office they best match, we will encourage them to run for elected or appointed office.
